She lived in England and Wales in the 80’s, where she exhibited extensively with South Wales Potters Assn. She returned to New Orleans in 1991, where she taught in the New Orleans Public Schools Talented in Visual Art program until 2005, when flooding caused by levee failure in the wake of Hurricane Katrina closed the schools.
In recent years she had spent summers in the mountains of north Georgia, and the lack of a kiln there, as well as a plentiful supply of wood, has led her to experiment with wood and found object constructions, which are then painted. Since then, she has taken several courses in the Penland School of Crafts , particularly in the wood studio. She has her home and studio in the woods outside Spruce Pine.
Pat is represented by LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans, by the TRAC galleries in Spruce Pine and Burnsville, and Toe River Crafts in Celo, NC.
